Super cute vibe! Since it's in the mall, there's always parking which is great. The staff is very accommodating and polite. The food is good, not great. However, I'd come back for the guacamole and queso alone. Both were amazing! I do want to come back again and try a new dish though.

*Restaurant week 2024* Blanco still is one of the best deals for restaurant week. We ordered the guacamole and Queso for appetizers. Both were delicious and well portions. Love their chips. For entrees, I was disappointed the shrimp was chopped up inside the enchiladas but really enjoyed the poblano sauce and Charo beans. The chicken fajitas was overly sauced and a little dry. The desserts were both the star of the show. The chocolate cake was equally as delicious as the tres leche cake and was still good the next day! I had their seasonal strawberry mandarin margaritas which is my favorite now! We were seated quickly and the service was friendly and not overly slow. Overall, Blanco is a solid choice for restaurant week.

As a local San Diegan, mexican food is one of my specialties. I can say this is some of the best mexican food I've had in SD especially for a chain restaurant. The grilled avocado tacos are my absolute favorite and the breakfast burrito is great too. The service is always outstanding. I've been here when it's busy, when it's slower, with groups of people, and with only one person. The food remains consistent, high quality, and delicious every time!

We showed up here in mid afternoon and decided to do a linner which is a lunch / dinner and the great thing is if you do it in the bar area, ther is half priced nd special happy hour items menu which was great for us. In addition to a regular tacos plate with rice and beans turned out to be a perfect meal with appetizer to share. The guacamole served with chips and a salsa complimentary offering was a good starter. The two tacos with a rice and beans to go with was good. The fish was a bit off, but with lime squeezed on, was a good dish. Out bartender girl was pleasant, informative and attentive.

Blanco is a total tourist trap. Located just feet away from hotel circle. Decided to grab a bite after watching a movie at AMC. The space is beautiful. The service was good considering how large the restaurant is. I ordered one of their aguas frescas which was good. Also had the cheese dip, It was decent. Definitely nothing special. To eat I had the carne asada Bowl, lots of rice and beans. Tiny bit of carne asada and avocado. Husband had the carnitas enchiladas which were definitely very good. All in all, a good experience aside from the rowdy children jumping around in the booth next to us. Watcha gonna do.

There's a lot of seating with an open style bar so you don't really feel crammed in, or too close to your neighbor. I've been here twice to celebrate an occasion, and both times we came with a large group (12-15 or so). The restaurant was easily able to accommodate us and I didn't feel like we took over the place - there was still ample seating for everyone else. I ordered the enchilada plate both times and was pleased with the portion size - one time I ate the whole thing and the other I took half of it home (which actually reheated well). Once I had a classic margarita which was nice and the other I had an Agua Fresca which was refreshing. Overall it was a nice place to eat and a great place to celebrate a milestone with a large group.

Honestly one of my favorite Mexican spots in San Diego. Admittedly, it's more on the bougie/fancy side of Mexican options. Clearly SD is known for it's Mexican food with taco and burrito spots everywhere! For me this place stands out because not only do you have a variety of different taco options--yes you have the regulars like carne asada, chicken pastor, grilled shrimp and yummy mahi--but you have some other great menu items such as my go to - fajitas! The steak fajitas are my absolute favorite. Surprisingly, we don't actually have a lot of sizzling fajita options here in San Diego, so I'm really glad the ones in Blanco are bomb.com. Yes, I said bomb.com lol. They also have these things called Cheese Crisps which is basically like a super thin and CRISPY Mexican pizza. Get the BBQ Pork and Roasted Corn Cheese Crip and thank me later. They also have salads, chimichangas, burritos and of course a huge list of alcoholic (and non-alcoholic) drinks to wash your food down with! Great ambience also...lots of indoor and outdoor seating with really nice decor, good music playing and plenty of servers checking up on you!

Tried Blanco for Sunday morning brunch and was pleasantly surprised as I did not think that I would enjoy the food as much as I did. Between my friend and I, we shared the taco salad and the short rib cheese crisp (which is essentially a giant pizza or an open faced quesadilla but they won't let their servers describe it like that). Because we were splitting, they offered to pre-portion the salad into two bowls which was very helpful. The cheese crisp was tasty, although a bit heavy (I probably only had 1-2 slices of the pie). The taco salad on the other hand was PHENOMENAL so much so that I was recently inspired to make my own taco salad at home. The salad was crisp and refreshing, while also being flavorful. Surprisingly my only qualm with it was that there was too much meat in proportion to the lettuce, however I understand that this is a good problem to have and others may not agree! Our server for the first half of the meal was actually the general manager and he was a loud and lively dude, yet very friendly. He mentioned that one of his servers was late and there was a stark difference between him and the server that replaced him, who must've not said more than 2 words to me and my friend and did not really check on us either. Despite this small hiccup, I would come back to Blanco again and even recommend it to others for Brunch!

You never know how mall food will go but luckily Blanco knocks it out of the park! Our server was so sweet and fast. We loved our drinks (the jalapeño pineapple is SPICY! Trust the warning!) My chicken tacos were tender and I loved the sauce. And their rice is out of this world!

We love this place! This is our second time stopping by this spot whenever we're in town. The first time was more of an outdoor lunch on the patio. But our most recent visit was indoors for dinner. If you're coming just for this restaurant I suggest parking on the top lot which is right next to this restaurant on the top floor. The staff is so friendly and food was delicious. Carne asada fajitas was definitely 5 stars. The meat was so juicy and very flavorful. I ordered mine cooked medium and it was perfection. Came with your choice of flour or corn tortillas and then on a bed of grilled veggies & a side of a crumble cheese, pico de gallo, a scoop of guac and a corn salad. My friend ordered a side of street corn which was incredible! Definitely worth ordering. Their drinks were fantastic. I enjoyed their mango margarita. It came with a chewy dried mango in it. Sweet, yummy and delicious. Favorite part is they came with chips and salsa which also didn't slack on quality.
